The same 42 mm case, this time made of bronze of course, a bronze bezel with an aluminium bezel insert and a sword shaped handset. Despite using the bronze case, the watch is still water resistant to up to 300 m. Ocean 1 Bronze is powered by a well know Swiss automatic movement, ETA 2824-2.
At the first sight, it looks like a regular Ocean 1 but in bronze; however, there are some slight changes. Steinhart finally decided to upgrade their lume to C3 superluminova. It should give stellar results thanks to the thick 3d printing on the dial. Other than that, it’s a pretty standard Ocean 1 that we all know.
The fashion for bronze watches is still here and it looks it’s not going anywhere, at least for now. Steinhart also wants to keep up and that’s why they have just announced that their most popular model, Ocean 1, is now available in bronze as well.
